About

The person behind the page

Poems read slowly, and so do I

I read and write poetry with an eye toward deliberate cadence and clear imagery. Most of my evenings begin with an open collection, a pencil, and a notebook that is rarely tidy.

Prashant Words grew from that habit. It is a place to slow down with a poem, to note the line that keeps returning, and to share the recommendations that have earned a place on my shelf.

How I choose and write

Editorial honesty comes first

I select books, tools, and editions for their usefulness to people who care about poetry, not for their commission. Every commercial recommendation is acknowledged openly, and no affiliate link is presented as a neutral opinion.

When I review a collection, I want the reader to come away knowing what the poems do, how they sound aloud, and whether the book suits their reading life. A recommendation should make sense on its own terms before any link appears.

Direct correspondence

Write to me directly

Questions about a review, a poem you would like considered, or a note on the journal are always welcome. I read every message personally.
